What this controls
UPick's aggregate data sharing setting governs whether your anonymized, aggregated swipe and rating behavior contributes to UPick Signal — our B2B trend-data product that we license to studios, streamers, and market researchers.
What's shared: aggregate cohort statistics (e.g., "of users in the 2020s decade, 38% liked Sci-Fi"). Always bucketed in groups of 50+ users (k-anonymity).
What's NOT shared, ever: your name, email, photo, pair, individual ratings, three-word reviews, taste vector, or any data tied to you personally.
Default: on. New accounts opt in by default with disclosure in the Privacy Policy. Switch off anytime — here or in the app (Profile → Your Privacy Choices).

Changes take effect immediately. The next time the UPick Signal export pipeline runs (weekly, Sunday 03:00 UTC), your data will be included or excluded according to your current preference. Data that has already been aggregated and shipped in prior cohorts cannot be retroactively pulled — but k-anonymity (group sizes of 50+) means it was never tied to you anyway.
